Lemongrass Powder lends its delightful lemon flavor to East Indian cuisine and tasty herbal teas. It’s a traditional Caribbean and South American remedy for soothing the nerves and relieving digestive complaints.

Add Lemongrass to medicinal teas to improve the taste or make a refreshing, healthy iced tea (it blends well with other citrusy herbs such as Lemon Balm & Lemon Verbena, as well as Hibiscus, Rose Hips, and Sweet Orange Peel).

Common use:
Promotes digestion; relieves gas, stomachaches, abdominal cramps; calms nervousness; improves taste of medicinal-tasting teas.

Suggested directions:
To prepare as an “instant tea”: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ¼ to ½ teaspoonful of powder. Drink 1-2 cups of tea daily. If desired add honey and/or lemon to suit taste. NOT TO BE USED DURING PREGNANCY.
