Roman Chamomile is an aromatic perennial native to Europe. Like German Chamomile, it too has a long history of use for soothing upset stomach, promoting healthy digestion and calming the nerves.

This fragrant, apple-scented tea has been used by generations all over Europe for its comforting effect on the stomach and nerves. It’s even reported to be the nerve-soothing Chamomile mentioned in the well-known English children’s literature, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit”. Common use:
Promotes healthy digestion; alleviates gas, bloating; soothes gastrointestinal system; eases muscle cramps and spasms; calms & soothes nervous system; relieves occasional sleeplessness.

Suggested directions:
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of whole herb. Allow to steep 4-7 minutes, then strain. Drink 1- 2 cups of tea daily. If desired, add honey and/or lemon to taste. NOT TO BE USED DURING PREGNANCY.
