The Creation Story – CD
This was the second religious CD written and produced by Rick. (Remember, in the past, he wrote popular, folk, and the world’s love songs before giving his life to the Lord Jesus Christ.) This beautiful song about the Sabbath—The Creation Story, is the title song, expressing the love of God in giving us the Sabbath and Creation in the form of a story. This is also a classic way Rick wrote songs, in story form. In almost every song you sense compassion and concern for others is genuine. Even though we never met the people in the news who experienced a tragedy, we would always pray for them. A few days later Rick would be expressing himself in words and music of consolation about an event, while pointing them to the Great Comforter. In every song there is a powerful message of love.
